Exercise in futility

Imagine Porsche stuck you a pencil in the hand and told you to go and design your "perfect" personal Porsche. What would you come up with?
(Now don't be greedy, and the first one to specify "cupholders" will get a personal visit from a baseball-bat wielding maniac!)
Make mine a cleaned up 356 A Coupe "outlaw" sleeper, with a 993RS motor, stinger exhaust, 996 6-speed box, RS suspension and them new Yellow brakes. (guess who is a hot-rodder at heart?) The interior should be bare. a cage, bucket seats, no more. That's the daily driver.
As a "lust" object I want a 964 Turbo, black on black. It does'nt have to be fast, I just want to look at it every day.
Regards
Stef

Start with a lightweight '67R shell, add in six-speed transaxle with 'Airport' gears, a 908 engine with 90 mm p/c's for 3583 cc engine with MFI and RSR Sprint cams, massive flares for 11" front and 15" rear Fuchs, and 917 brakes all around ...'Unobtanium' roll cage, polished Titanium headers and sport/rallye 'silencer' ... add white paint, and it would be ready to go!

Mine is an early Targa with the fold-down rear window. Upgrade the engine to RSR specs, add the remaining modifications Warren suggests, and there's my dream car.

If somehow you could stuff in the suspension/engine/gearbox/AWD from a 993 BiTurbo in a 1989 911 Turbo body. Then add some 18 inch Fuchs and arctic silver paint. Uhh that would be one hell of a car...

Or what about a modernised 904 GTS with 993 engine/gearbox? Erh, the crash approval might cause a few problems, but I'm sure such a car will be fun to drive
