[QUOTE=Racerbvd;4740275]Trying to figure out what year my extra 3.0 is.. Thanks,QUOTE] I believe all SC could have been required to have smog pumps, it's just that some states required them while others didn't... My SC didn't come with one but it's a WPOZZZ, and when it was federalized it only needed a O2 sensor.. Whats the engine #?

In the USA, only the 78 and 79 had smog pumps. 80-83 did not. | ||

My grey market 83 had one..... You can tell the year by looking for the engine number, on the rib near the oil sender. It should start with 930/XX. The engine serial number can tell you as well....

ROWs that wound up in the US or were they supplied like that from the factory? I know that it would have to improved to be just crappy on the install. The AC pump was a Nippon Denso and the welding looking like it done by a 3rd grader or someone in Texas where it first got Federalized... It was one the main reasons it got pulled was the leaky barrier hoses and along with the for schizzle excuse for AC.....and I went to a 3.6. When it's hot the top goes down,,,,cold up and a jacket....no heat no AC...whatever....I'm happy.

Flexible fuel injector lines were used prior to 1981 it appears to be a small port at least the runners look smaller in the picture....So my guess is 1980.
