87 911 with 86-89 944T Brembos
Hi guys has anybody done this swap?
I am currently downsizing my Porsche fleet, and am curious: one, is the swap easy (who makes a bracket adapter) two, will the 944T 4pot Brembo's really make an improvement over the OEM 911 brakes? three, has anybody done this. I have never had an issue with my 911 brakes - street or track (run metal pads and super blue/yellow), but the Brembo's are sure pretty. And as I was in the 944T build mode I have already invested $200 into the calipers rebuild.... not including there actual cost. Thanks

There are literally 100s of threads on this topic, 964 calipers and 944t calipers are essentially the same
here are the 136 returns on my first search '964 and calipers' , this barely scratches the surface of whats in there

Agreed there are tons of posts on this topic. All I will add is, if you do pursue this? It would be wise to invest in calipers with the rubber dust boots vs. the older style scraper seal dust protection. Why? The newer rubber boots are much cheaper to replace than the scrapers come rebuild time.
