Remove p/c to replace headstuds?
Is it necessary to remove pistons and cylinders to replace 12 head studs?
As soon as you remove heads and take pressure off copper cylinder base gaskets do you have to automatically replace them? so therefor the answerer would be yes? Thanks, Leakproof.

its easier to remove all the cylinders than working around them. The broken stud cyl needs to be removed because thats the only way to get to the broken stud.
Base gaskets are relatively inexpensive Bruce |
