How do I find the section width of an older generation Hoosier?

I've got a set of Hoosiers that I picked up used on my car as track tires (R3S05) and they fit my car perfectly. Sizes are 245/45 front and 275/40 rear. I've heard the new replacement R6 is wider and I'll have to go downs sizes to find the equivalent tire. Anyone have experience with this?
