Just did an oil change and checked the oil filter out, 147000 miles on the clock 8000 on the oil (swepco). The filter looks like it's new!! no sign of any metal or other bits in it at all! Even the aircraft I work on show some signs of wear and I change the oil every 50 hours! This engine keeps amazing me all the time. at this rate, it should last forever. Just wanted to let people know just how well built these things are. Keep going baby and thanks Porsche!!!
