Adding LATCH Anchors for a child seat?
Has anyone added anything resembling LATCH Anchors for securing a child seat into the back of a 911?
I'd like my toddler to be able to join me, but I'd like to secure her seat in place with something better than the 22 year old inertia reel lap belts. |

I'm sure you could come up with something that would work. From a liability satndpoint, not sure I'd want to. When I had my 2002 Audi retrofitted with LATCH hardware I had to sign an Audi waiver that indemnified the dealer from harm, even thought he retrofit hardware was designed, manufactured and distributed by Audi. Based on that experience and knowing that the manufacturers invest a lot of engineering $$ into these safety systems, I wouldn't want to test my infant's life on my handiwork.
