Source for Lower Seat Rails
I am looking for a place/shop in San Diego (even Orange County) that will lower my seat rails in my 83 SC.
I called one place who would not do it for insurance reasons...etc.; therefore, I am asking if someone has had it done in Southern California and if so, where? I have seen some of the threads on this site (e.g. talking about how the fuel lines run through the center area and where people have purchase cargo seats...etc.) I have a pair of 2-way power seats that I want to install; actually, I have installed them at one time but I sit too high with the seats in the lowest position. Even if I replaced the very worn drivers seat with a stock version, I still would be sitting too high.

Check with Brey-Kruse. They may have a bolt on soulition.
I have been thinking of cuttin my mounts out and looking into a bolt on seat mount made for a Boxter that bolts to the floor. Not sure if it will work. http://www.bkauto.com/porsche/porscheindex.php |

Ok, forget San Diego and Orange County; how about LA?
Someone must know somebody who could make this modification...
