These seats are in my 78, but I think they might be from a later model..
Was the electric adjust available on the 78's? Just curious.. place your votes now

I don't consider myself to be a seat expert (or any other kind of expert), but those seats look exactly like those in my '88 911 coupe. I am at work so I can't walk out to the garage to confirm, but (from memory) they appear identical to mine.

I am not sure, but I seem to recall that the seats in a '78 were different than those in an '88. I am sure someone here will know.

They look just like the ones in my '88 Carrera. I don't know if electric seats were originally available for '78 SCs.

I put a set of those in my '79. I believe mine were from an '83 or '84. They bolted right in.

'84 to '93 electric seats would be my guess. I do not think that they were available earlier. BTW those are heavier than s**t. I removed my electric driver and mech. passenger stock seats in favor of Recaros and it was like removing a passenger from the right seat.
