AFR Gauge / Match OE Style Gauges?

I want to install a wide-band O2 in my'85 Targa. The problem is all the O2 gauges look like @ss. Digital readout space-ship stuff. I want to install the gauge where the clock used to be. BUT I want to look of the face and gauge to at least somewhat ressemble the rest of the dash.

Any answers?

Just did this a few weeks ago. I had a machine shop make up an adapter for me, if you email me, I will send you the drawing for it.

Contact North Hollywood Speedo. They should be able to match your gauge face with your other gauges.

There are a few options besides NHS.

I like these and have been saving my pennies.

I'll post a photo of my AEM gauge in the custom bezel. It works excellent, liikes not bad, and didn't break the bank through JEGS.

You don't have to put the AEM sticker on your windshiled unless you want to...

Send one that you like to us and we can either reface it or install it in a clock can to match. Price: $100-$150.00 depending on how far you want to take it.

There are a number of wide band analog AFR gauges out there with black or white background bezels.
Innovate sells 2, 52mm diameter different style ones called a G3 or G4.

They are actually just 0-5 volt, volt meters with bezels calibrated as AFR using a stepper motor to move the needle.

I have an Innovate sweep needle gauge in my car...doesn't look too blingy IMHO. I only wish the bezel was black rather than chrome. See pic:

I think thats the G4 from Innovate.

You can tape off the glass trimming the tape with a razor blade, scuff the metal ring with 400 grit sand paper and spray paint it satin or gloss black without much trouble.

Thats what I did.
