Need a plug for the distributor hole.

I am converting to direct fire distributorless ignition and I need a plug for the distributor hole. Anybody have a place to get a plug from?

Clewett Engineering has them:
http://www.clewett.com/

They usually come with pulley type crank trigger kits.

I remember the green plug in the picture had a Porsche 996 part number on it. I wish now I would haved saved it. With some research you may find something on one of the water cooled motors that uses this plug.

I will detail it in a thread on both the turbo and on the 911 tech forums soon. But in a nutshell you need either an aftermarket EFI that controls spark or a very expensive standalone unit like the electromotive stuff theirs costs around 1600 I have about 500 in mine.

Thanks for the responses it seems that goingsuperfast.com sent my plug from a different location and didnt tell me I got an email from them that they only had the manufactureing master left and wouldn't let that go but then he told me that I should have got it from his Oregon warehouse so now I know what that mysterious tracking number is in my inbox. I was surprised at how easy the conversion is but does require many changes to the megasquirt ECU internally.

Ill take the clewett plug, mike. I'm doing the same thing, have all the parts and should be a neat and simple switch from the dissy to EDIS. also, this allowes you to use engine timing to control warmup without using the WUR, AAR, or any of the other things. can't wait to play with it. Mine will have carbs on it so i'm using the megajolt control box with MAP.

Don't be afraid to tighten up the hex bolt on the plug. I had a significant oil leak before replacing the rubber o-rings and a good tightening (goingsuperfast).

Thanks for the heads up I should have gone to clewitt but you know hind sight is 20/20 so far not impressed with goingsuperfast don't think I would trust them with any more dollars.
