This car has to be back together by the 31st. We did spin the throw out bearing... I'll keep that in mind when we are trying to get the wishbone thing back in place. It will get done! --Puff

I'd prefer hearing that from a lady instead of my current lady-less situation !

It's back in! Never mind the dangerous and precarious positions that resulted in victory

Good, glad nobody got hurt sounds like it was harrowing I hope you took notes and lessons learned for future drops, I did the first time. My biggest oops the first time was not hooking up the engine ground left me scratching my head for hours. The last time I thought I had the clutch fork engaged in the throwout bearing good thing I tried to hook up the clutch first and found it very loose didn't lose much time as a result.

Good going, Mr Puff. My factory manual says to take the engine and transmission out as a unit. Try that next time as I'm sure it has to be a lot easier, and in the end, quicker. You might check out the device that our sponsor sells for removing the engine on a floor jack. I bought one, and it IS easier that what I've done for the past 30 years.
Good Luck!
