Thanks again for the input Larry
It happens throughout all low and high rpm so it definitely might be a fuel problem. I have replaced the fuel filter prior to the problem but should I change it again? At first I thought it was the afm too so I adjusted the coppers arms with no luck. I thought it was a clogged cat too so I purchased a hollow cat / test pipe from a fellow pelican but haven't received it yet. Can it be the cats though? I smell toxic fumes coming from the muffler area. I wanted to check the injectors but haven't had the chance to do so yet. Thanks again I'll keep you posted David |

Based on the problem being erratic (intermittent?) I can almost guarantee it's the fuel injectors. Been there, done that! New or overhauled injectors will make it seem like a brand new engine!
Has your fuel mileage dropped lately too? This is also a sign of bad injectors. Furthermore, if 1 or 2 of them are bad, replace all of them now.
