FPR hose??

first off the car is a 89 911 carrera targa.i found a gas leak and it seems to coming from the fuel pressure reg.the hose is disconnected.its attatched the the regulator but where does the other end go?thanks for any help...

The only line that I think you could be talking about would be the vacuum line to the FPR and this should not cause a leak. The Carrera fuel lines are notorious for aging, leaking, and then starting catastrophic engine fires. I would do a search for this. It probably means that you need to replace all of your fuel lines on the engine.

theres gas coming out of the vaccum line from the FPR..is the reg. bad?

That means the rubber diaphragm in the FPR has ruptured and the FPR will need to be replaced. Replace all of the rubber fuel lines while you are replacing the FPR and also replace the pressure damper (looks like an FPR) on the other fuel rail at the same time.
