3.2 Magnecore Questions (I searched)

I just finished installing 8.5mm Magnecores on my 3.2. A thread came up that got me thinking about two things:

1) Spark plug gap -
I replaced my old spark plugs with new Bosch copper plugs w/ stock gaps (.028). In my searching, I've seen many folks referencing gaps in the .04+ range. However, this was mostly in reference to SCs and also included an MSD coil/ingition upgrade. My question is, should I have gone with a larger gap? Everything else is stock (including coil) and the car is a daily driver - no track time.
2) Resistor/dizzy rotor issues -
Again in my searches, I came across a number of folks having rotor and cap meltdowns, when upgrading to the MSD/Magnecore ingintions. Is this a concern if I've only upgraded to the Magnecore wires?
TIA

No worries on the Wires. Stick stock gap

AS far as MSD, no clue

What Draco said. I've had them on my '86 for at least 6 years.
