Looking for information about 1970 911 st

I recently bought a 1970 911S barn find been sitting in shed since 1981 The guy I bought it from purchased it in Germany in 1977 he said it was used as a pace car in Germany for Porsche races. And my suspicions are high that it might be an ST I want to know if anybody on here would be able to help me identify if it’s an ST or maybe if they have a list of ST that was built in 1970 the chassis number is 911-030-1230

Very unlikely. The official numbers for ‘70 are 0001-0003 and 0949-0950. Most of them were ‘71 Cars. The engine type would likely be 901/20 or 901/21 instead of 901/02.

Post pictures and info why you think this instead of just being a car kitted up with a bunch of sport purposes bought Parts for racing.

How were you able to confirm that? and congratulations how exciting! Is that the original color in the pic? Original paint? Give us more info please
