..now if it would only start!
It's just been sitting for a month or so. I had the motor out, which I chronicled here a few weeks ago. It ran great before I "fixed" it and never failed to start.
It turned out that all I ended up doing that might affect how the cars runs or doesn't run was to slightly adjust the valves. So I fully expected it to start when I put it back together. It's been suggested and it appears that the injectors aren't injecting. I'm getting good spark and plenty of gas to the return line. Everything appears to be hooked up right, including the one electrical socket that doesn't seem to have a mate. Near as I can tell, that one is for diagnostics (which I might end up needing). There was a discussion about testing the injectors once I was able to turn on the fuel pump. But I still haven't figured out how to turn it on. Remember that this is a conversion and things are not in the usual places. Can anyone shed any more light on bleeding the fuel lines (Motronic) or any other tricks to get the beast started?

Which motor is this? You mention a 'diagnostics plug' so maybe the 3.2? But in a transplant like yours unless you did the transplant or whoever did it documented the rewiring its hard to say whats what anymore.
You need compression, fuel, and spark at the right time. Can you pull one of the injectors, point it at an empty jar, and turn it over to see if you are getting fuel? Can you smell fuel when you crank it? You say you are getting good spark, how have you verified that?

Yeah, I checked for spark at the distributor and one of the plugs and it looks good. I'll try the injector test. And yes it's a 3.2.
