Buzzing noise from instrument panel

My 87 Carrera has a buzzing noise when the ignition is in "on" position with engine turned of. Is seems to go away when doors are closed or after a little while - but not always.

The "buzzer" seems to be in the upper right trunk compartement.

It sound like it has the flu!

i had that in my 78sc but it stayed on all the time. brutal. It was the seat belt buzzer.

i reached under the dash and felt around next to the ignition.

The is a buzzer back there with two wires. remove one wire problem solved.

not the best solution but the best for now for me.

Seat belt buzzer - crazy thing! US models really has stuff european models dont have! Will check it out.

Another US thing: Cruise control. What is up with that in a 911, Aside from that it adds on one mile every 10 seconds. Go tell that to the judge! It was not me, it was mt car
