Complete Ruf (real) SC valence - need realistic value
I'll be putting this up in the FS section but I really have no idea what a fair price is. I'd appreciate any input. It is in VG condition, no cracks and very minor scuffing on the bottom edge. There are some scuff marks on the brown paint, most likely from moving it around over the years. Those are Cibie IDOE(?) lights and of course will come with it.
![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks for the help, I need the $$ for my project!

nineball - I can't believe you would try to pull a fast one like that. Shame on you.
I'll give you $55. ![]() Seriously, I know nothing about what those are going for. Good luck with the sale. |

hi, i think the lights are Cibe Airport 35's. my Euro spec Ferrari's all had them as "flash to pass" lights.

Thanks guys, i'm being told if it had flush fitting lights from RUF it would be crazy and other numbers i've been told (before the $50 + $55 of course) seemed pretty high. I need it to sell and hopefully to someone that will use it and not just try and flip it for a fast buck..

I would say $500-$1000, considering what a new one is. I paid $400 for one years ago. Do you have the brackets and oil cooler to go with it?

Ruf valence picture
Dear Gary,
ABS Plastic TUV and Aero tested, oversized integrated chin spoiler, cooler grill totally cool.. Yellow bird front end look without the removal of the front bumper. A true Ruf part that bolts on with no modification. An awesome way to upgrade any 74-89 911 Cab, Coupe or Targa. I have seen Ruf valences in the $2000 range. A picture on the car speaks a thousand words. Anyone have a picture of one on their car. |

So would asking $800 including shipping be a good deal for a fellow Pelicanite? Not interested in making a killing, just want a fair price and want whoever gets it to enjoy it. I keep being told to hang on to it, $1000 minimum, EBay it, etc.. I should be more opportunistic but i'm not. It's most likely the only good thing on the roller I bought, especially after I found the rotted torsion tubes, hole in the rear frame box, etc...

There's a thread with some great pics of this piece on a car and a discussion of the differences between this ABS piece and the full on fiberglass piece that replaces the whole bumper. Somewhere around a thousand seems reasonable...depends how long you are prepared to wait.

Someone has a NOS one in their Ebay store, no lights, for $1800 US. It's been there quite a while.
Considering that Ruf GmbH still list this part for 960 Euros (~$1,400 US), ex 19% VAT (not payable outside EU) and shipping , I think people consider that too expensive... http://www.ruf-automobile.de/content.php?seite=shop/produkte.php&details=141 Someone else is re-manufacturing copies in PU, and they're going for about $450. Hopefully that gives you a range to work with ![]()

Thanks Spuggy, unless i'm missing something offering this for $800 inc. the running lights and shipping (which will be the better part of $100 for UPS or FedEx) should lead to a fairly quick sale with everyone happy.

Thanks cdrik915, that puts me at less than 1/2 of new point and that's where I like to be with used parts. I have a few other items to get together and then over to PP FS Forum I go!

I sold one a couple of years ago for about $650 and the buyer whined big time but still bought it.
By the way, I think the fog light holes are made for factory Carrera lights. |
