1970 911t rust issues

Just bought a 1970 911t and i am concerned with some rust where the rear swaybar attaches. can any one offer any help?

Hard to say, as there is rust and there is rust. Try posting some pictures as that will give us an idea of what you are dealing with.

sway bar?

A '70T probably wouldn't have had a rear sway bar, at least originally. So it is tough to tell what you're looking at. Must have pix!

I hope it's not too bad. I went through some rear longitudinal repairs that might be similar to what you are seeing. Not fun, but not impossible to deal with.

mcaterino - My 70T came from the factory with front and rear sway bars. Depended on options ordered.

if truly at the sway bar that could be trouble, thats where the torsion bar attaches.
check carefully for rust around the torsion bar both inside and out. 1+ pictures
