colour combo advice and feedback

Hi All,
this is part of an existing thread but I decided to post this section for a little more input from all who are probably going to over look the existing factory hard top thread.
paint options for the targa hard top
OK porsche fans, need some assistance here. Had some renderings produced so I can get some feedback to see what your responses are.

Undecided, but I think I like the original look of # 1
#2 looks good but may be a little "poncy' when the roof is off.

Anyway, let me know what you think, and I will see what the vote is.

Attached are 3 options:

2. i was going to say 3 but i don't like the shine on the targa bar. make it flat and my vote changes to 3.

How about a polished Targa bar/white roof /polished Fuchs lips.

Or just get a coupe

As depicted, I would prefer #1 with satin Targa bar.

However, in my humble opinion, #2 would also be great if the rest of the obligatory "bright-work" was there (door handles, petals on the Fuchs, headlight rings, windshield trim, etc.).

I think you may want to mock up polished Fuchs...with a white car the all black wheels are "heavy" looking and it might change the overall look quite a bit.

btw - I'm thinking about doing the same to my all black...if anyone has a pic of a black late-model 911 with polished Fuchs and a stripped rollbar, I'd like to see it. I've only seen early models this way and the look is different (esp. w/the smaller/rounder headlapms).

Have a look at this Targa. I think it's the best one I have seen.

Note that the bar is satin plus polished Fuchs really lift it. Not sure what color their roof is but I would go with black.

That is a really nice looking car that's for sure. I am just not quite up with the American thing to have to polish those already beautiful Fuchs. You rarely see it over here in Europe unless it's one the the US imports of course. Maybe it's a sunshine thing, rarely see that here either, no sun to really bring out the shine on the polished rims!
