cragar G/T's I think. Old and crappy us wheels but look good on a mustang.

Possibly Cragars, I think the welds look a bit rough for them. The wheel caps look like ARE (American Racing Equipment), much worse quality than Cragar. Both brands were generally marked, though. Trying to remember who else made a torque-thrust style... damn I hate getting old...

They are NOT American Torq Thrust wheels. I don't know which off brand they are but they look like they are drilled to fit Chevy and Ford. ALL Americans will have the name and size embossed on the back and it wont look like the back of those wheels.

I just took these, Original Torq Thrust, Chevy pattern, 15z7 inch one piece, embossed on the back. Had to hurry so my wife didn't see it in the house.

if you look at lug holes uses a different type washer, by looking at the back they may be fentons. if their fentons run, they break, Kevin

The inside work doesn't necessarily mean bad work, either, BTW. The ROH sport wheels made in the Torque Thrust styles for UK Ford Falcons looked very similar to these, and have stood up very well over the years.

I understand American made different styles of Torq Thrust, every one I have ever seen has the embossed letters on the inside. The picture you have is of the new copy, look at the cut on the inside edge next to the spokes. Your new one is flush, no indention, plus the center caps arent the same bolt pattern. I am pretty sure American didn't make a wheel like that two piece thing. I also have had many different styles of American wheels but like I said, everyone I have ever seen had the embossed letters. Some Japanese copies, very close copies were plain, maybe those are what you saw. I have had 16 inch wheels that are good copies but they weren't Americans.

I'm pretty sure the wheels in the original post are "E/T Mags".
Rocket Wheels made some that were similar as well.
