Flare wrench size for brake lines
I'm getting ready to replace the brake lines on my car and I want to make sure I have the correct tools before starting the work.
I received some SS lines from our host and was a bit disappointed to see that the nuts on them are SAE and not metric. So I will need more flare wrench sizes. Can someone tell me which wrench sizes are required? (Car is a 1988) New SS lines will required 9/16 and 11/16. I understand that the hard-line uses 11mm. What about the OEM rubber lines, are they 14mm and 18mm? Thanks

Best bet is to look at a set of 3 or 4 wrenches with different sizes on each end and be done with it. You will find a need.
