One less needed
I'm in for one, please email me with your needs. I just have a hard time understanding or navigating SCWDP website.

Any update?
|
Based on the last conversation, I hope to have them tomorrow or Wednesday. Will try to get them all mailed out pronto.
Please bear with me if you have tried to email me as I have a problem with my email right now due to a domain transfer that is in progress. IUf any of you need to reach me, just PM, or email me at vanweys@charter.net and make sure it says ATTN SHANE in the subj. Thanks |
I hate to say anything for fear of jinxing myself, but...
I just heard from the manufacturer, and the badges with all of their parts have been shipped to me. I should have them tomorrow or Friday. Assuming this holds true, I will do my best to get the badges on their way to you who have purchased them on Saturday. I am really sorry this has taken so long. It was stuff beyond my control, but I hate that things kept getting pushed out like they did. I hope you will all have your SCWDP badges sometime next week. If you have contacted me about buying a badge and did so after the initial order, please send me an email to shane@scwdp.com and let me know again that you want to purchase a badge, and which style you want. I will try to weed back through everything, but I just want to make sure I do not miss you if you have contacted me already. Thanks, Shane |
ya right.... hope you are having a good time on your free vacation to the islands!

Great to hear we have some movement on these! Great expectations :) Thanks!! |
I can honestly say that I have been waiting since February 2009 for these badges. Can't believe the time has come!! Hooray!
|
Hey Shane, I never did received an invoice I sent payment for via Pay Pal way back when... Would you resend the invoices with the badges?
thanks |
OK guys, good news, bad news, good news...
Good news: badges are in my possession! Bad news: I have not had enough time off of work the last 10 days but to catch a few winks of sleep. Good news: I am off for the next 4 days and so barring any disasters, emergencies, etc., I should have your badges in the mail tomorrow. Shane |
I'd be great to see the badges, maybe with a SCWDP sticker or two thrown in for the time spent marinating?
thanks for the update |

All badges that have been paid for are in the USPS system. I have also sent out emails and PM's to those that had come in later and wanted to order a badge. I still have a few of the black chrome and maybe a couple of the original polished look left.
Thanks everyone for your patience in this. This will probably be the last time I do it like this. I had too many things happen beyond my control and I hated pushing the delivery date out like I had to. If we do it again sometime for future Plotters, I will just have them made and sell them once I have them in my grease-stained hands. I hope you all enjoy the badges. I am sure they are good for a few HP's! ;-) |
Shane, glad to hear. I don't think that just anyone would have had the perseverance to get this done. I'm sure we will all be happy and they will look great.
Now I'm really waiting. |
Got Mine!
Shane, got mine yesterday, well worth the wait, thanks for the effort.

Got mine yesterday.
They look great! THANKS SHANE. SCWDP Best, Grady |
muuuuuuuuuuuhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaa
|
Yep, got mine yesterday as well...
Nicely packaged too. Quick question on the finish: I have the standard/original badge and on the face of the glossy black center background you can see what looks like color sanding marks? The face is pretty close to glossy/shiny looking, but looking at a side angle you can really see these scuffs over the entire face of the badge where it looks like who ever did the final polishing missed this ... If you've ever cut and polished paint, it looks like the semi-glossy finish after the 1st pass with compound. The material is glossy but the finish is almost matte with sanding scratches on the side angle.. Anyone else have/see this? Is this how it's supposed to be? I'll try to take a picture ASAP and post it up for review Not trying to be a PIA, I really appreciate the monumental effort in getting these made, I just want to be sure we're representing the Plot! Thanks Shane! |
When I saw "bad news" I was expecting it to be that Carrera was mispelled again
