What's traffic film? In US terms, I'm trying to imagine some haze, cloudy deposits, grease/oil splashed/sprayed by other traffic? Anyone in US know of an equivalent?

dang! didn't realize it was a U.K. product. what }{ said... does anyone know of a good U.S. equivalent? Britwrench said Simple Green, but I'm not sure that it would do the same
btw. I'm assuming that traffic film is the grime, oil, and grease etc. that builds up on the underside of your car (or anywhere else) over time

Thats the very stuff - its mainly used here for cleaning lorries chassis, engines etc.

 well, I'll be in Europe this summer. perhaps I could pick up some of the degreaser and bring it back
