Can I Use A Different Pulley Half?

The fan on my engine currenlty uses the standard Double Outer Pulley Half (3.125"/82mm Diameter). I much prefer the look of the earlier cars with the drilled Outer Pulley Half (3.75" Diameter) as pictured below...

My guess is that doing so will slow the fans flow rate and therefore the engines cooling efficiency. Not sure if this will be an issue as I have fitted and 11-blade fan in place of the original 5-blade - maybe the new pulley half may bring it back the efficiency of the 5-blade?

Does anyone know of any manufacturer that produces a 3.125" diameter version of this pulley? Also, would I need a new fan belt?

As long as the pulley keys on the fan hub properly, you should be fine. You are correct that the fan will spin more slowly. However you won't approach the lower volume of the 5 blade. The 5 blade was an intentional reduction in air volume to increase the operating temp of the engine + thermal reactor exhaust to handle exhaust emissions.

Just remember that you'll need to select an appropriate length belt (longer) when switching to the larger diameter upper pulley.
