85 carrera oil cooler question

My 85 Carrera has no fan installed on the fender oil cooler. Was this an option?

The fan was added in 1987.

Without knowing your driving conditions, you may, or may not, wish to add a fan.

Check this site/eBay for used (87-89)oil cooler fans.

Your oil temps should be between 185-210F for optimum engine life.
