My GF learned stick on my 915

Now I can't get the car back from her. I guess it's not such a bad transmission after all.

The only thing nicer looking than the car is the girl!

(is there something weird on the audio, tho? kinda sounds like you have an exhaust leak).

Did you see that little smile she gave you as she pulled away?

I don't think you'll ever see that car again!

The oddest thing about it to me is that she puts both hands on the wheel as she pulls away. Is that a chick thing? I myself, and I'm guessing most of us here, don't take our hand off the shifter when in 1st, cause you just have to change gears again in what, 2 seconds at most? Still, much better pull away than my gf, who also learned stick on my 915...and still stalls more than William Shatner getting through a sentence on take offs.

Oh she is hot. If that were my girl, she can drive my cars any time.

Haha you guys are funny! Her dream car is an AMG CLK Black Series but she said my little 911 "will do" for now. She's a German model and the "German" really comes out when she's behind the wheel. She adapted to the 915 very quickly, shifts it darn smoothly, and seemed to understand the car intuitively....must be something in the teutonic bloodline. It is really a thing to behold to watch a German beauty drive a German beauty the way it was meant to be.

I agree with all of the above post... She's a beauty.

Also... The video reminded me of how good an impact bumper car can look.
I think we can forget that when we're drooling over a beautiful "long hood".

I wish I could convince my wife that learning to drive a manual transmission isn't that hard. Both my cars are stick and if she's learn I wouldn't have to get rid of one for an automatic. I think I'll show her that video and hopefully it'll inspire her. And my wife's quite a eyeful as well.

Peter,
I hear ya on the impact bumper thing. I used to go back and forth about putting fiberglass bumpers on or backdating my SC but as time goes on I like the look of my car as it is more and more.

I asked her about this and she said "The car's lack of power steering makes low speed maneuvers a bit stiff......" all in a German accent. Guys, I'm going to marry this one

You need ROW bumpers on your ROW - they look so much better!
