Kind of a one-hit wonder in the classical music world. However, the piece is usually described as a bachannal.

So I sound like a geek - however, this piece absolutely ROCKS.

(yes, my tastes usually revolve around more mainstream stuff - but seriously, check this out).

Haven't tried it in my car yet - but do mean to...

Sounds like the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian! Not quite the same as "Soul Stripper" though!
Nice try though!

Just be thankful you were only listening to AC/DC, not Golden Earring - "Twilight Zone"

Update,
Completely trashed a set of Toyo Proxes, from brand new to cord showing, 6K miles. This AC/DC habit is getting expensive. The upside is I will get to try lots of different tires over a short calender period. The embarrassing thing was a Datsun 510 came up behind me on the way to work, I stepped it up, turned down Bon, and started clicking gears. Couldn't lose him, I got to where I was going faster than I wanted to be going on the street, in the morning. I think the 510 was blown or had a very large engine and it had sway bars the size of baseball bats.
Oh well there is always someone faster!

try it with the "hammer of the gods"... now we're talking!

Update,
Smoked another set of tires, a front set of Falken Gummy Bears, smoked in 5500 miles. Gotta get them changed out ASAP, if the wife looks again and "informs " me that my front tires are bald, 6 months after she reminded that the last set was worn out, I will have lots of 'splainin' to do, I am pretty sure she ain't gonna believe the front calipers were draggin'.....again.
Having a "brain melt" collection of AC/DC tunes on the ipod is not helping the tire wear issues on my car!
Bon lives!

:D:D:D I like it!

My 911 has no stereo, or sound deadening for that matter.

For me, all this excesive driving while listening to hard rock happens in my pick-up truck! Yes, my 3/4 ton 4x4 drifts nicely around some of the sweeping turns out near my place.

The laws of physics apply, no matter what's being driven.

Two advantages:

-The truck gets silly at much slower, thereby safer, speeds

-An old truck is pretty invisable to law enforcement.

Confirmed,
This silliness continues with a 3.2, Bon Scott is the problem bless/curse him!
El Chup gets really pissed when the AC/DCis loud!

Again,
Coming home from work on a shiny Sunday afternoon 280 at about 75, sunroof open, both windows also open, AC/DC is blaring.
Looking at the other cars on the road all have their windows rolled up tight, climate control insulating them from the outside world just as well as the cars that they drive insulate them from the road.
I was actually feeling pity for them and their novacaine existence.
Hit Sandhill Rd and joined the snail crawl up the hill 84 and finally to Skyline/35. Hit Skyline at Alices Resturant, you really can get anything you want at Alices, Skyline wide open. Wicked it up clicked '74 JailBreak and hitting a nice rhythm. Came up on a Prius, slowed and a bike came up on us and promptly passed us over the double yellow. Drat stuck behind a mobile slalom pole. Up comes one of the few broken line passing areas, and hit 3rd, run it up to 6K, pass the speed lump like it was rolling backwards, tiny feeling of pity for anyone stuck in one of those POS things, it quickly passed as the road passed under the tires at a nice clip. Actually ran the the sportbike, down like a cheetah chasing a gazelle on the savannah! Oh joy, joy, happy, happy, HWY 9 and a road full of Sunday slalom poles.
Oh well!

Oops,
Got the Bonfire collection, Proxes R1R, cord showing at 3200 miles, stupid AC/DC!

I subscribe to the same, the look of the factory radio is good, but the sounds of the machine far out weigh and tunes from anybody

As an Aussie, I find Acca Dacca's "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" raises my redline by about 500 revs. Maybe it's the ROW DME.

Cheers, Dave.
It's a long way to the shops if you want a Chikko Roll

Motor cooled down, heat went down, that's when I heard that highway sound.
Cadillac sittin' like a ton a lead, a hunnert an' ten half a mile ahead.
Cadillac lookin' like it settin' still, an' I caught Maybelline at the toppa da hill!

Just got new gummi bears installed on the fronts, christened them with a blast up HWY 1 to Bonny Dune Rd and on over to Boulder. Bon was howling like a Labrador Retriever with his tail caught in the car door! I forgot how nice new rubber is!

OOOOPPPSSS,
Shredded the latest set in 4500 miles, oh well at least I dont have to worry about date codes.

matt f 12-09-2014 10:13 AM

If tires last long enough on our cars for the date codes to come into question, you're not doing it right!

Matt

AC/DC Bonfire collection, 5400 miles, but they were glorious!

Angus!!!

Seems like a six shooter. AC/DC-Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the next in rotation. All the soccer moms were sitting home watching reruns of Oprah sipping on industrial quantity Margaritas, all the mobile slalom poles were pinned into their cubicles, the road was open, the sun was shining, Bon was howling, and I decided to get a little heat into the R1Rs. Little shredding, got the brakes warm, not bad for a Tuesday with a Homer Depot bucket full of stuff, I guess it would have been better to take a mini van, naaaah, just kidding!
