Anyone recognize this '68?

I purchased her about a year ago from a guy in Dallas who bought it while stationed on Oahu a few years prior. I'm curious to see if anyone might be familiar with the car and I'd like trace it back to when the flares and engine work was performed. He had it painted at D&N auto body in Honolulu.

He believed the car was sold in FL originally and then to shipped HI.

I've since rebuilt the engine and was pleasantly surprised to find Mahle 2.8 RSR pistons and bored out 2.7 cylinders. She's a real screamer!

Here she is on Oahu before the previous owner bought it...nice robins egg blue stripes

Here she is now, I had to get rid of that tail and rear bumper! The PO also had it painted, unfortunately he was a ford guy so that explains the reason it looks like a cobra Still lots of work to do but it definitely is a fun car to drive.

Where do you have a chance to exercise that 'rod? Not a lot of wide open spaces on that island....

Good question! The ran so poorly that it probably sat most of the time. Fortunately there are a lot of big open boring roads to stretch it's legs here in TX!
