911 Dash identification

I have a dash that I need to identify. It is in very nice shape. Just not sure what year 911 this came from. I have an 89 targa that I am hoping to use this for. If it doesnt fit...it will be up for sale. Please chime in if you can help with the ID.

I think it is a 964 or 993 dash.

I know it can be fitted into your car, but I am not sure how much work it is. I have certainly seen others do it on this board, so do a search and see what you can find.

Well, here are photos of a dash identical to the one in my '87. The long center vent on yours looks similar, but you be the judge. Yours has some different mounting hardware to the base of the windshield, and is missing some securing studs. My guess (and this is a guess) is also that yours is a 964 dash.

From the shape of the defroster vents and the end caps I'm going to go with a 964 dash.
