1979 SC, removing alarm, need help!

Hi, I just bought a lovely 1979 911SC. It has an old 80's alarm system and I want it gone! I have started to remove alarm horns and some wires to the door switches etc. But I need to find where it interrupts the starter. From the electric wire diagram for the 78SC I can see that there runs a yellow wire from the ignition switch, that separates in to two at what is described in the diagram as; " on luggage compartment floor", one yellow wire for the fuel pump and one for the starter. I think the alarm interrupts the starter and not the fuel pump. Where can I find this wire split so I can locate the yellow wire to the starter, and where it is interrupted by the wires to the alarmsys?

Any other tips on removing an old alarm system? (I have already removed an old radar control system called whistler)

PS; I am not very experianced with electrics....

Thanks
John
