Gas Tank Seal Removal
Trying to clean off the old seal b/f I install a new gas tank. Any thoughts on what to use to remove this gunk? TIA!

Sweat, blood, tears.
It is just one of those PITA jobs, you could use a big grinder or wire wheel but that will do more damage than helping. just have to scrape and wipe, scrape and wipe....

I used a plastic scrape and white spirit. Took about 45 minutes.
