low Fuel Light Blinking

I have a 1990 911 Targa (964) and the low fuel light is blinking with a full tank. Now a little over a year ago I replaced the original fuel sender in the tank purchased it at Vertex and it stopped now it has started again, is there some other component that needs to be replaced or do I need to buy a new sender again? Thanks for any help!!!

Add fuel?

Sorry that was of no help.... Recheck your terminations/ground?
If nothing else, a free bump...

+1, check your ground, if that checks out then sorry, buy OEM unit, Switches and Senders are best if PAG, they are so critical components plus PAG warranties them for 2 years.

Pull the sender and check if the bottom nut and plastic spacer to the outer tube is still in place. Mine fell off and the outer tube was touching the lower contact intermittently doing the same thing. Replaced it with a new sender.
