I recently replaced my rear bulbs with these units and they are fantastic. I can see out the tinted back window easily. Much brighter. 7 watts higher, quality made.

i guess its all relative but i find the lighting for reverse pretty good in the 911. its alot better than bmws.

I made something similar some time back. I smashed an old bulb, inorder to have the bulb base. I then soldered on to the contacts, an H3 bulb which was brighter. I donno if i made it draw more current though, but it was brighter and cheaper. And it hasn't burnt any fuses since fitted, maybe since 2007.
