Fresh Air Blower Fan: Compatible VW or Audi Equivalent?

I disassembled my fresh air blower today ('87 911) and the motor is clearly shot.

Does anyone know if there is a comparable fan out of a VW or Audi that I may be able to source locally?

Good luck finding a drop in replacement. Please let us know if you find anything. I looked and could not find anything for less than $400.00.

Try the Bosch website. For many products you can type in the part number and it will list the applications.

Have you tried replacing the brushes? I found some that fit at a local electronics repair shop.

I really don't remember it was a long time ago, the shop had boxes of parts and just told me to sort through them, I eventually came up w/ the parts I needed.
