Porsche Crest Power window madness - help

Ok, my 1980 911SC Targa, that I love is driving me crazee, the DS window is slow and last week stuck in mid-stream. PS window is slow but works fine. I've removed and cleaned both switches, also checked the power surge with the interior lamp, no change. Soooo how do I confirm if it is a bad DS switch or bad window motor ?? Gotta a show-n-shine in 2weeks, please advise ???

There have been several threads on this just recently. You probably will find your answer with the door panel off. I'm not being terse. Search here and search in your door.

Problem is probably inside the door, in the mechanism as Milt suggested. Also, if everything there seems fine check to make sure that the frame is not tweaked.
