Conelec Fuel Pump

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of a Conelec Fuel Pump. I bought it off "that auction site" cheap. It was advertised as being a Porsche fuel pump but I'm having my doubts. This fuel pump seems to work with reverse polarity only, meaning that the positive lead needs to be grounded and the ground lead needs to be 12+. Could it really be a Porsche fuel pump? Anyway, looks like I'll be selling this but would like to be honest when I do and would like to know what if anything this might have been used for. The only little thing I found on the web points towards maybe an aviation fuel pump?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

I replaced my noisy Bosch pump with the aftermarket (universal) Holley pump. Works fine and cost ~ 1/2 what the Bosch pump would have.

I saw you conversation about a Conelec Fuel pump back in 2004. I am looking for this type of pump. Do you have it for sale? Gerry

I do still have it. I'm out of town until Thursday. Why don't you email me at vwtopia@yahoo.com with your email and I can send you pictures when I get back. Kevin

There was a company, Formula 1 Enterprises and they sold some accessories... one of the items was a 'ConElec Electronic fuel pump' and a Conelec hyperpump. They were probably best known for marketing steerings wheels made by Gianpiero Moretti of MOMO Did your pump have a sticker on it with this logo?
