VIN 119100203
CA ZAZ 820
I would want the dates on the CA registration stickers.
If about ’83 and later, CA DMV will get you all the registration information (for a modest fee).

I would have the VIN checked through the NCIC.

Anyone can write a Bill-of-Sale – legal owner or not.
A “Clean bill of sale” is one written on unsoiled paper.
I suspect the extra $350 is for a “California Assigned VIN” title which will impair the ultimate value.

The car looks like RF crash damaged.
I suspect hit in the headlight and not the bumper.
Measuring the LF strut, A-arm and wheel will give some idea of the severity of the impact.

It is relatively rust free.
It needs to come ALL apart and be seriously repaired and preserved.
Anything less and it will just take off rusting where it left off at 36K mi.
Some rust is from sitting apart in moist (salt?) air.
The rusty shift handle and outer pulley half are unusual.
I would like to see the rear of the thresholds.

I see crash damage on the leading edge of the passenger door.
The fit of the hood, cowl, and door to a replacement fender will need attention.
I would want to test-fit a windshield.
I don’t see a fuel tank.

It is not ‘unmolested’.
Note the swapped position of the speedometer and combination instrument.
I don’t think the speedometer cable will reach in this configuration.
The classic ‘engine air scoop’ is still in place.
Note the aluminum carpet protection.
I see A/C parts but no sign on the engine.
The engine has had tensioners ‘recently’.
There is an extra part on the ‘coil’ and an aftermarket muffler.
Note the Permatune and replacement Bendix pump.
I see a ’74 and later front suspension cross member.
I don’t see any trim so I can’t tell if it had ‘Appearance Group’.
I see non-Velor carpet so I think it was non-Appearance group.
I suspect the ‘S’ instruments were added.

All-in-all it is a real find for a great restoration.
It is NOT a “Three weeks in a garage and you will knock it out.” project.
Far, far worse have been done to a ‘perfect’, finished as original example.

Value is what it will sell for.
I hope someone doesn’t buy it to ‘flip’ and not do it justice.

Best,
Grady

Personally, I think it's a basket case but,,, I belong to an internet service called "Bring a Trailer" Everyday they post car/cars for sale, usually unusual/hard to find cars. This is the first Porsche I've seen from them in quite a while.

All in all, that looks like a nice car.

I think I see a couple of pieces that don't belong to the car in the pile. What is that small triangular piece of glass? The door pockets are really nice!

Anyway, if someone wanted a '69, it would be worth going to see. I will guess it will fetch up to 12K. At the current bid of a little over 8, it's a buy, IMHO.

Very salvageable. A body that hasn't fallen to the oxide monster is worth something.

Seen much, much worse restored to pristine.

Except for this one a week ago..... BaT Exclusive: 1968 Porsche 912 Driver « BaT – The best vintage and classic cars for sale online

The price is already too high in my opinion. It does have the correct side graphics though! HAHA

Looks pretty solid from my eye, but the price is too high for a "roller" '69T...and "roller" is interpreted very loosely here. As a '69T it is likely a 4 speed, so you get a boat anchor tranny and the worst 911 motor ever made...also a boat anchor IMHO, other than the carbs.

30K miles my eye!!!
