I actually like the bbs on an older 911 (mine is 77 so thats old!), especially if it's "unmolested" in the bodywork department. New open style wheels just look odd (also the calipers & rotors are not the best looking, I'd keep them hidden!).
I would love some Minilites. I have come close to getting them a couple of times, only to have to spend the $'s on actual maintenance. My second choice would be bbs. |
hbkramer, that top shot is what I'm looking to do on my India Red car. I like the look.
dagriff, I agree on Minilites, especially if they were made in 16." I know there are some close replicas (Superlites?) that are far less expensive (around $200/wheel) than Minilites and seem to be very good. |
