Welcome the new addition to the family
Well I finally got tired of being Porsche-less while the never ending rebuild of my 68 goes on, so when a local decided he needed to sell his track car, I jumped on it.
It is a 1986 fitted with a 1996 Vario-Ram 3.6, Turbo Brakes, upgraded torsion bars, sway bars, seats ,rollbar etc etc. Came with a set of 8 and 10" x 17 custom made Fuchs 3 piece wheels with race rubber on them, I subbed in a set of Rota's with Dot-R tires for now while I work myself up to the cars potential. Already have plans to lighten it up more as it still has power windows, door locks and all the heating stuff. Also intend to take some of the track biased parts I had for my 68 and use them on this while moving that car back towards more of a street machine It is going to be a good summer ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Thanks, had it out Tuesday and Wednesday for some track work and what a fun car to drive! Now I just have to fight the urge to do any upgrading that involves more than bolt on pieces for the next little while. I have a Wevo shifter coming to tighten up the shifting, and then I am going to try to leave it alone except for mainteance and just drive it this summer. Maybe get an Iroc Tail for the track.
