Correct 69 latch plating

What color should the latches (hood and decklid) be plated on a 69? I have seen both yellow zinc (originally cadium) or a silver zinc plating. Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Kristoph aka Ratman

My late build ROW 69 has/had clear, or silver with gold hardware affixing them to the body

Kristoph,
I walked out this afternoon and looked at that old '72 down in the pasture. It is just as Classic describes his '69. Silver colored plating on the latches, held in place with gold-colored hardware.

Thanks Classic and David!

I will check with the plater if they can do two seperate batches. If it is too expensive to seperate I will go with yellow zinc for everything.
