85 Carrera Fuel Line Question
Hi Everyone,
Fairly new to Porsche ownership (I've waited 30 years to finally purchase my "dream car"). While poking around in the engine bay, I noticed this tear in what appears to be a fuel line. It's part rubber and part hard line and goes into the back of the Mass air flow sensor. Is this part available? I couldn't seem to find that exact part on PP. ![]() ![]() |

It is available.
P/N - 93011032803 It's $134. Mine was busted too. Just changed it, along with most of the hoses on top of the engine. Some people have just put electrical tape over that. I didn't want to do that. Good Luck. Ken

Not to nit pick but the item it goes to is the air flow meter.

That is an air line on the intake system. I would smear some black RTV on it and call it a day. Not a fuel line...

No need to replace this $139 part when it can be repaired using a $3 roll of self fusing silicon tape from Ace hardware:
Repair vs Replacement options for this part? ![]()

To prevent the new rubber from cracking again, support the venturi tube so the weight of it doesn't not bend or stress the rubber.

I have inserted 2 different size hoses in to one another, doped them for a seal and clamped them..It works.

Thanks Guys!
Takes a load off my mind to know that it's not a fuel line, but a vacuum line. Several options to choose for repair. Thanks for all the replys. |
