different early turn signal question...

I have searched through the threads and didn't find anything so...

1966 chassis. Bare metal resoration. Everything came out. Everything went back in. My turnsignals light up, but don't blink. I replaced the 3-pin relay with another (hella...but just had it laying around and don't know if it works)...same thing. All four corners work, but don't blink, and I don't here a relay clicking. On the early cars they had 3 relays. A friend over on the Early S pointed this out...
One is the "control light unit", the round can made by Stribel.
One is the "control light relay" The orange relay with only four terminals.
One is the "blink light unit." This is up in the trunk next to the fuse box.
I apparently checked the "blink light unit" next to the fuse panel in the front trunk. Am I to guess that that unit is not the one that should make a clicking sound? I tried to test both relays and they show continuity across the parallel terminals...so maybe they are both ok. My other "control light unit" and control light relays" are above the pedal cluster, mounted under the fuse panel. Somewhat of a pain to get to...but IIWII (it is what it is).

Anybody experienced this before? Before I start replacing the remaining two relays...I thought I would ask.

Thanks

Speedo

Aw...c'mon!

Where are the relay wizards? The ones that actually enjoy reading the wiring diagrams upside-down
