Heater back-date parts confusion

I'm trying to do a heater backdate on my 83SC. I think I wold need the following two parts from Pelican plus the hoses that go from these to the heat exchanges.

However, upon reviewing some other threads, I found this parts list for backdating an SC:
911-106-327-00 Heater Duct
911-106-321-00 Heater Duct
911-106-036-00 Cover Plate Large
911-106-827-00 Cover Plate Small
911-211-194-00 Heater Duct Hose

I don't know what the cover plate Large and Small would be for, and not sure why they list 106-327 instead of 106-322. Anyone have any ideas?

Do a search & you'll find pictures of what's involved. Originally, on the early cars the right side consisted of 3 or 4 pieces. Looking at the catalog picture it seems they've combined everything into 1 piece. A lot of people buy used old ones in which case you need the xtra pieces. Obviously you need hoses to connect everything up.

Good Luck, Steve

I got the left side duct from parts heaven:

It's a better fit for later cars like your '83. No need to "tap with a hammer to achieve optimal fit..."
