Looks ok, you should just bite the bullet and buy a black carpet kit and some fresh black seats . The grey is killing it for me .

Just wondering... How much would a car like that sell for in Atlanta area in the condition you bought it???

Herman, I don't like the lt gray either....closest color to my grey/green interior which I like. I'm planning on re-dying with custom match Leatherique. Interior needed clean-up. However, car is mechanically sound, well maintained and body/paint in excellent shape w/new tires. Mkt value est. $15K - 17K. Bought from a neighbor for $8K.

Thanks!

In defense of my neighbor, who's a nice guy and really not a slob, the B4 pic was at the shop, torn apart replacing the windshield and door seals b/c of characteristic leaks. He had a 87 and a 98 911 and two addl cars. This was his airport commuter beater and it lived outside. It got no love the past couple of years and wasn't driven much.

Hey, it worked for me - great deal/ awesome project not to mention that I have been dreaming about someday buying a 911 for about 25 years!

Comments much appreciated guys!

8K$$!!!!!!! Congratulations amigo, l love the ext.color. So you can mod and personalize to your hearts content and feel totally guilt free. l`d say you have at least $10-K to spend and still make out on the car(if you ever decide to sell). The RUF green interior would look awesome on that car.Keep us posted with pics,so far so good

He parked it in my driveway one day, drank my beer, and never let me drive it.

Can you believe that?

Mark,
Let me know how the custom dye works out. I too have a Granite Green car with that same "special" interior and need to have my drivers seat bolster fixed. If the dye works well I might forget about just finding nice black sport seats and fix what I have. Car looks great for that price.

Daniel, I got two quotes on my seat repair. It pays to shop. Quote #1 was from a dealer referral - $1,500 for a new seat bottom cover, boster repair and dye to match the repairs only. Quote #2 from a neighbor referral was I buy the cover (GAHH same supplier as #1 quoted me) at $396 and he would put it on and replace the bolster panel for $200...then I'll dye both seats together so they match.

I've already ordered the dye from Leatherique and sent it back once to be remixed b/c it didn't match. Now it's close but not quite green enough - I might have George remix it one more time - he said it was a tough color to match.
