If loving my car is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

Mark, Your mirror is wrong.

Yeah Jim, 'wrong' is the new right ;)

Your car is certifiably bad-ass

Love the Mini lite wheels too.

What the hell is that!

I love it!

Tell us more please.

nameisbauer 01-21-2014 02:50 PM

JSBFOTO?!?!?!

WOW. Amazing. What color is that? I was not expecting that. Honestly Jaw dropping.

jsbfoto 01-21-2014 03:27 PM

Started with a 1976 911S, did the backdate with TRE parts and custom bits that I built. The color is Sienna Metallic, a special order color in 1976. 3.0, 2100 lbs wet.
It is my vision of a proper vintage Porsche Hot Rod….

Sweet! Is the bodywork fiberglass or steel? Are those standard rear fenders?

Have any interior pics to share?

Spectacular! I love it. Let's see some shots in natural light.

I concur...They are never done, but can be overdone.

Yeah, no kidding. Where have you been hiding this beauty?

jsbfoto 01-22-2014 03:19 PM

Thanks for the kind words guys! I don't hide it I swear, I drive it all the time. The interior isn't finished quite yet, it's about halfway there. I'll get some outside shots of it soon, I had a few minutes in between clients in my studio yesterday and snapped a few frames. I'll gather up some photo's of the process I went through to build it and perhaps do a post on that.
I'm involved in a really nice backdate on a 1986 right now, it's fantastic and will be done in the next week. I'll post some pics when it's done.

sf2oc911sc 01-22-2014 04:16 PM

Love the look. Is the tail all glass? Hardly see it without rubber edge. Who makes it?

jsbfoto 01-22-2014 05:24 PM

Rear deck lid is stock, taillights are R replicas, and the bumper is one piece fiberglass.

Keeping a nice thread going...

Over the last year i've been sucking up ideas/advice/parts from here and friends on the Early 911S Registry. There are chunks from everywhere making up this "Frankenstein" that is my first ever 911. Sincerely, thank you!

'78 SC to '73 RS (kind of..I strayed some), w/'84 ROW 3.2, sunroof & rear seat delete, SSi's & sport exhaust, etc....
Build by "RS-Werks", Newark, DE. and now San Diego's newest outlaw...
