I have an 'extra' duck laying around. maybe I should try and come up with a mod to use it like the above.

I've also thought of a plexiglass removeable spoiler. plexi is easy to mold with a heat gun. would look ok, light, and easily removeable. in fact, stay tuned. I think I'll go to the glass shop tomorrow and pick up some plexi. I really don't like the duck on the SWB, but I like the darts at 120 mph even less.

Any way you could fit a 964 retractable spoiler with a manual switch to raise/lower? Styling without compromising looks was the reason for that development.

i know the audi tt has a similar high speed stability problem and theirsolution is version of a ducktail. it is much smaller than the porsche version. i think as long as the air is disturbed enough the lift will be reduced.

The TT does not have the same magnitude of sloping roof that the 911 has. The S or RS models use the fixed ducktail, I believe, but does not the new model have a retractable spoiler?

If you put a wicker-bill at the rear of the roof where it meets the rear window, it would have a bigger spoiler effect than something placed farther down the rear end. It would be less visible at the natural discontinuity where the cabin air vents are.
