Exhaust for 3.6/993 transplant in 1973 RS

Hi - I need a new exhaust for my 1973 RS clone with a 1995 993 engine.
(My flowmaster set-up blew up this weekend . I really loved the sound - but it also gave me severe heat problems)

I still have the original 993 headers and intend to keep these.

Im considering to use the dual-out Dansk Sport muffler for the 3.2. Mainly because of the heat considerations. Its large, can fit well and lay low without getting to close to the bumper.

Anybody tried this combination ? Any take if it will have enough flow for a 3.6 ?

Peter

except for the mods that will be needed to the muffler it should work fine.

as you know the muffler inlets will have to be relocated if the 993 stock headers are retained

Is there an 'easiest path' muffler for an early car with a 993 transplant and 993 headers?

Ben @ M&K can make a muffler that fits 993 headers (bischoff). DW SD is running it on his car. I have one ready for install on my '96 motor.
