Painting Garage, Any Ideas?

Anyone have any ideas/photos of a "proper home" for my Carrera? Just finished painting the drywall off-white and the floor gray. A friend of mine suggested Gulf colors, but I'm not sure if I want a light blue garage. I'm thinking 8" diagonal black, red, and yellow stripes on one wall with the Porsche emblem in the middle. Also looking for any banners, flags, or signs that are available out there. Thanks in advance.

You'll waste countless hours drooling over how others have done their garages.

We're buying a new house and I'm planning to "theme" the garage in Martini colors. However, I'll probably do gray on the floor and about 3' up the wall (instead of the RSR silver) capped with the traditional Martini stripes, then white the rest of the way up. Of course the white will receive the poster/picture treatment as well.

Post up pics when you're done!

Actually, I'm converting my garage to a heated one. I'm getting new insulated garage door with stell on both side, so I'll paint something similar to yours.

Not that I got a lift, next winter project includes, new brakes all around, SSIs, M&K 2 In/ 2Out, Clutch cable and all the stuff I bought last year and did not installed

Personally I would keep it simple so the garage doesn't over power the car... The walls are just a back drop for your posters and other art work and the car becomes the center of attraction.

Naturally a lot has to do with the size of your garage. I think JeremyD's wall treatment is tastefully done. You need to decide whether you want your car or the garage to make your statement...

Thanks! Only one that leaked (very little) was the 356, so I kept a catch pan underneath. Plus I used commercial grade indoor/outdoor carpet and it cleaned up really good.

I'm planning on posting pics of ALL the models soon.....they are FOR SALE!

And RKT, I'll likely buy some models to add to my collection in the man cave. Let me know what you have.

Just won a 20"x15" crest for the wall on ebay. I'll likely put stripes somewhere on the walls. Gulf or Martini colors are a possibility, but German flag colors are likely. Going to try some photoshop this weekend with a combination of all of your ideas. I'll post them if I like any of them.

my one car garage has wainscoting with silver and black paint and floor tiles. I just recently finished my two car garage with expoxy flooring and silver paint on the walls. I would've liked to do a border but I ran out of enthusiasm
